Accessory Wholesale New Orleans LA (A.W.N.O.L.) is a wholesale jeweler to the Fashion, Bridal and Tourist industries. As their name suggests, they are based in New Orleans, LA; and along with more traditional items such as tiaras, stretch bracelets and earrings, they supply a large number of items with local Louisiana flavor and themes, such as Mardi Gras, Cajun and Jazz.
Objective
The majority of AWNOL's business is done on the internet, so it was of major importance that they increase their overall online visibility. To that end, SEOMatrix embarked on a campaign that sought to both improve their search engine rankings and to increase consumer awareness of the company itself.
Strategy
The first step in achieving the goals set for AWNOL was optimizing the existing code, in order to allow search engines to explore the site. Once this was accomplished, the ongoing process of gaining good-quality inbound links began. With this task constantly running in the background, the creation of new and interesting content for the website became a priority. Using SEOMatrix’s in-house copy writer, AWNOL soon had pages full of relevant content that was optimized for the search engines. As part of a larger online marketing strategy, two press releases and an article were generated and disseminated through various online distribution networks. The purpose of this exercise was to increase overall brand awareness.
This all-encompassing and continuing approach to an optimization campaign meant there was always something new for search engines to examine; this was reflected in the results that the AWNOL management saw.
Results
Over the course of the campaign, AWNOL was able to see a threefold increase in overall visibility on the internet and, coupled with significantly improved search engine rankings, the company was extremely satisfied with the work SEOMatrix, LLC carried out on their behalf. The relationship the two businesses forged throughout this process has seen AWNOL re-sign for further SEO work in the future.
